Awareness is the key here. Awareness around where your time goes.
Try this for a day, or two, one week, one weekend…take your sketchbook/playbook/ideas books (the one you carry on you all the time, you know, the one):
NOTE DOWN EVERYTHING YOU DO WITH THE TIME. EVERYTIME YOU CHANGE YOUR FOCUS, NOTE IT DOWN.
E.G. 7:30 wake up, 7:35 bathroom, 7:45 breakfast and coffee, 8:06 getting dressed, 8:10 ready for the day…you get the idea.
Try this for a couple of days…non-judgementally, just see, where your time goes and what you are actually doing…
That is step 1.
